Welcome to the new look TGB, or The Grosvenor Bar.
Affectionately known as the “Grand Ol’ Lady of the South” the Grosvenor has a colourful history and has hosted many celebrities and personalities over the years including Queen Elizabeth II, English Prime Minister Harold McMillan, several New Zealand Governor Generals and Prime Ministers, and Pioneer aviator Jean Batten.
TGB has been lovingly restored back to its former glory, with a modern twist. Many layers of dated wall coverings have been stripped bare to reveal the “bones” of this majestic building. A high level of craftsmanship has gone into this redevelopment and we are proud to share this timeless masterpiece with you.
It is our mission to make you feel at home away from home as you enjoy the culinary delights prepared by our international chefs.
